Journey for The Throne

I did not know immediately about the death of my father, since I was sent to Manisa, it took some time to hear these news. In 1451, a long time after the death of my father Murad II, the word of his death was spread and reached me, that made me start my journey back to Edirne to claim the throne that was unfairly taken away from me in 1446. There were already two other people who wanted the throne besides me, a younger brother of mine, Hasan Celebi, he was only one year old and they already wanted him to claim the throne. Ohran Celebi was the other pretendent for the throne. But I was the oldest son of Murad II and the most prepared for it. Ohran Celebi wanted to regain the throne that his grandfather lost during the Ottomans regnum, but he was not doing this by himself alone, he had help from the Bizantine empire. Ohran would always look for opportunities to take over the throne, every time my father went to war, hoping that in any case he died during battle he would take over, but none of his attempts were successful, since he never gained supporters. After his last failed attempt, Ohran was kept captive in Constantinople and I secured the throne. But I needed to do something in order to keep the throne just to myself, I ordered soldiers to kill Hasan to ensure the stability of Edirne. During my first few days in the throne I ordered Candarli Halil Pasha to continue with his role, Vizier, even though he was the one that suggested that my father return to the throne from retirement in 1446, I needed Edirne to be unite and strong as ever for my future plans, a plan that was influenced by my religious beliefs, more specified, the prophet Mohammed.
