Battle of Kosovo
After ruling for two years the ottoman empire from 1444-1446 my father took the throne once again to become the image of the ottoman empire, because I didn’t have enough experience to be a leader. I was put aside from the throne for a couple of years, five to be exact. During this time my father was attacked again by a Christian army. After the defeat the crusaders faced in 1444 against my father, they once again led by John Hunyadi, raised an army attack in 1448 against the ottoman empire. The crusaders arrived at Kosovo, we, the ottomans did too. My father was leading a large section of the cannons and army, he brought me with him to my first ever battle and put me in charge of the Anatolian troops at the right wing of the battle. On the other side Hunyadi was leading the center of his army. The crusaders had a big number of weapons, along with cannons. During the first day of battle, Hunyadi attacked us with a light and heavy army, we lost many soldiers, I did lose soldiers too, but we got support from the cavalry and we managed to defeat them but not completely, some of the survivors returned to their base. After the crusaders saw our weak spots, they once again attacked us with their main force, knights and infantry. They managed to get through our center, killing our soldiers, but when they reached the camp our army was settled, they were stopped, making them regroup and go back to their camp. We saw that as a chance and the Janissaries killed most of their nobles and Hunyadi saw this a danger zone, knowing that this could turn really bad for him, fled. Luckily we captured him. The battle ended when our army defeated their remaining soldiers. As a result we became stronger and feared by other Christian empires, which eventually ended under our control.
